Udaipur
Udaipur is one of the most beautiful heritage centers of Rajasthan. It is located on the banks of Lake Pichola. The amazing town is nestled in the midst of Aravalli mountain ranges. The lush green backdrop of this place is indeed mesmerizing. This Lake City is famed for its three interconnected lakes namely Pichola Lake, Swaroop Sagar Lake and Fateh Lake. Places to visit
Sajjangarh Palace
It is also called as monsoon palace which overlooks the Pichola Lake. In past, it was used as summer retreat for Mewar kings. The scenic location, lush greenery and Aravalli mountain ranges are the enchanting features here.
City Palace
It is a place of ancestral properties. 700 years old monumental structures, classic paintings, lattice work, stone carvings and beautiful architectures are the primary features of City Palace.
Pichola Lake
It is vast water on which the Udaipur city is located. It is the lifeline for Udaipur. It belongs to 15th century. The Dam was strengthened by Maharana Uadi Singh II. One can find several exquisite places around this Lake.
Other Places
Nehru Garden, Sukhadia Circle, Jag Mandir, Saheliyon-ki-Bari and Fateh Sagar Lake are other famous locations in Udaipur.

Maharana Pratap Airport is in Udaipur. It is around 22 km from city center.
By Train
Udaipur has its own railhead.
By Road
There are plenty of bus services available to reach Udaipur by bus.
