Sirohi
Sirohi is a beautiful historical location in state of Rajasthan. It is one of the interesting tourist destinations in Rajasthan. It is a princely state where one can find Sirohi Fort which is the major tourist attraction. The Fort was built in 1405. Another famous historical spot is Markundeshwar Mahadeo Mandir which is around 5000 years old. Adjacent to this temple, there is Saraswati temple located. Inside the Sirohi Fort, an exquisite structure called Kesar Villa is situated which attracts several visitors throughput the years. Pavapuri is a Jain temple which is an important Jain pilgrimage. There are several sacred shrines and temples located in and around Sirohi.
Places to Visit
Vasanth Garh
It is on the banks of River Saraswati. One can find abundance of Banyan trees here. The structure was belonged to 11th century. One of the must see places in Sirohi.
Ajari
It is a beautiful village and famous for honeycombs and dates trees. One can find a temple which is dedicated to Lord Mahadev and Goddess Saraswati. There is a pond located nearby which is considered as holy.
Other Places
Varman, Jirawal temple, Mahadeo temple, Saraswati temple, Sarvadham Temple, Mirpur temple and Chandravati temple are other famous temples in Sirohi.
