Malda museum- this museum preserves the local architectural and anthropological models. It is maintained by the Directorate of Archaeology of West Bengal. Pandua- it is a small city renowned for its prehistoric existence of splendid past. How to reach Malda
By AIR Bagdogra Airport at the outskirt of Siliguri serves the region and it is the most likely option if one is travelling by air as it is the nearest airdrome of Malda. This Airport is all linked with the entire Metropolitan state of the country as well as abroad.
By RAIL It has its own railway station. It is well connected to all parts of India. Train is the fastest as well as cheapest mode of transportation. Taxi is always available from the Malda station that would take the tourists to any part of Malda.
By BUS Both government and private buses are available from any part of West Bengal on regular basis. It takes few hours to reach the destination by bus.
Best time to visit the place
It has a pleasant and satisfying climate throughout the year. Therefore Malda can be visited by the tourists any time of the year. Still most preferable is during autumn.
