Har Ki Doon
It is one of the best places which offer variety of trekking excursions and experiences. It is a remote and beautiful spot in Uttarkhand, located 3566 meters from the sea level. It is place of a virgin beauty, situated in Uttarakashi district and very close to Himachal Pradesh border. There are two treks known as Kuari Pass Trek and Borasu Pass Trek. Kuari Pass trek is from Uttarkhand to Himachal Pradesh and Borasu Pass trek is starts from Uttarkhand and ends at Chitkul in Himachal Pradesh. The popular spot in Har Ki Doon is Morinda Tal or Maninda Tal which is overlooking the majestic valley. The easiest trek is from Taluk to Har Ki Doon which takes the travelers to the most isolated Indian villages. Those villages are still away from modern civilization. The trek in Har Ki Doon offers gorgeous views of majestic Himalayas.

Morinda Tal/ Maninda Tal
It is around 3 km from Har Ki Doon. One can even visit a temple dedicated to Duryodhana, famous figure in Mahabharatha. This beautiful spot is overlooking the majestic valley.
Ruinsara Tal
It is another famous high altitude lake and serves as an excellent holiday destination in Har Ki Doon.
Jamdhar Glacier
It is a most beautiful glacer and visible at 4 km of trekking to Har Ki Doon but it is actually 10 from Har Ki Doon.

By Air
Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun is the nearest airport. From Dehradun, there are many local transports available to reach Purola. From Purola one can hire a jeep to reach Taluka. From Taluka, Har Ki Doon is at distance of 14 km. This can be reached by trekking.
By Train
Dehradun railhead is the nearest one.
