 Locally called Trisangam for the existence of people from the Sikh, Buddhist and Hindu communities with utmost peace and harmony, Rewalsar is a sprawling pilgrimage town which is also greatly accredited for its revitalizing ambience, delightful vistas and other beautiful sizzles of nature. The hassle-free place padded with an ocean of calmness and tranquility is ideal for the peace-seeking travelers who just love to pray and meditate here in order to rediscover personal peace and reduce stress.
 
 Rewalsar lake filled with buoyant reed beds is the prime attraction here. Legends believe that the soul of the great Buddhist monk named Padmasambhava dwells on the floating reeds. His idol has been beautifully erected in the midst of the lake.  
 
 There are three Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Kanha, Lord Shiva and a saint. Raja Joginder Singh built a lovely Gurudwara to celebrate the visit of Guru Gobind Singh in the 17th century. There are also a good number of Buddhist monasteries. Kunt Bhyog and a mini zoo are worth stopping by. One can also explore the 7 lakes which has its reference to the Mahabharath period.

Pragna Fort : Pragna fort is a imposing facade which stands 60 feet tall. The impressive 7-storied structure is built in stone and is decorated with beautiful wooden carvings.

Sunder Nagar : It is a beautiful town which is about 26 kms from Mandi. People throng the temples of Mahamaya and Sukhdev Vatika in huge numbers. One can also find the biggest hydro-electric power plant constructed across River Sutlej.

Joginder Nagar : You will feel exhilarated as you sit in a trolley and go up to about 8000 feet and catch glimpse of the steep rocks and fill your eyes with the gushing waters flowing down the reservoir and enjoy having a look at the hydro-electric power station. Fishing is also one of the main activities here.    

Prashar Lake : It is a serene and sacred lake dedicated to the great sage Prashar. A traditional fair is organized here in the month of June. It also plays as a starting point for trekking.  This stunning lake is about 45kms from Mandi.
