Bhuntar

Bhuntar is one of the glorious towns and a nagar located at 10km from Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at the merging place of the rivers Parbati and Beas. Bajuara

Bajaura is a small village situated at a distance of 21km in Kullu district National Highway. This village is situated at 5km from Kullu Bhuntar airport.  Basheshwar Mahadey temple is well known for its stone carvings and sculptures. Tourists can enjoy river rafting on the Beas River from Manali to Jhiri near Bajaura.

Bijli Mahadev

Bijli Mahadev is one of the amusing temples located at a distance 10km from Kullu district. This temple built in the dedication to Lord Shiva. A wonderful sight seeing of the Kullu and Parvati can be seen from this temple. The 60 feet highly elevated glorious Staff of Bijli Mahadev temple glitters like a silver needle in the sun. It is believed that in the Bijli Mahadev temple of lightening, the elevated Staff draws the almighty blessings in the kind of lightening. This temple is built in Kyash style.

Camping Sight Raison

Camping Sight Raison about 1433 meters is situated at 16km from the Kullu district. This place is ideally suitable for youth camps and to spend a pleasant calm holiday.  Prominent counts of orchards are present in this valley. Wooden houses are arranged for the leisure and peaceful stay of the tourist by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development and corporation.

Jaganath Temple

Jaganath temple dedicated to Maa Bhuvaneshvari is located at a distance of 3km.
It provides the beautiful view of the Kullu district.

Some of the other important temples to be seen in Bhuntar are Triyug Narayan Temple, Hagganna Thi Temple, Hanogi Mata Temple and Ragunath Temple. Bhuntar has frequent bus services to Manali, Kullu and Mandi Buses to other destinations pass through Manali with regular bus service made available to Manikaran.
