 Navadwip is a sprawling ancient city and a pure centre of perfect solitude that plays a true host for divinity seekers. Mayapur is spectacularly surrounded by the “Nine Islands” or Navadvipa as said in Sanskrit have popularity and importance of its own.    

 

 This enchanting glory is the birth place of the popular Hindu spiritual leader called Chaitanya Maha Prabu whose idol is majestically enshrined in the Chaitanya Saraswat Ashram. The inmates of the ashram are constantly working on providing devotional enlightenment to the devotees and are also involved in social service. Shonar Gauranga temple constructed by Pratap Chandra Goswami has carefully safeguarded the wooden sandals used by Chaitanya Prabu in a glass case.

 

 RadhaRani temple dedicated to Radha Mata, the female companion of Lord Krishna . Adorned with antique jewellery and abundant flora, the idol of the goddess looks very lively and elegant. The people will just get engrossed in watching the ocean of colors forgetting all the hardships.  Devananda Gaudiya Math and Sri Maha Prabu temple with rich history and tradition should also be visited.

By Train : Places like Orissa, Bihar, Assam and other important parts of Bengal are connected by a good number of trains from Navadvip.

By Road : Buses also connect prominent places too.
