Places of Attraction in Mandarmani

Mandarmani Beach-   It is the main attraction of the place. The long beach is perfect for stroll or long drives. The cool breeze blowing casts a magical spell on the tourists who walk along the shoreline. The tourists may spend the day on the astounding and alluring beach.

The Delta-   The Delta is also known as Mohona is another famous attraction in Mandarmani.  It is just 6kms away from Mandarmani Beach. The coastline is lined by Jhau trees. Here the river and the sea meet. Red crab is the chief attraction of this beach. This is also famous as fishing ground.

Digha Beach-   it is an elongated sandy beach which is few hours from Mandarmani by car. It has a dazzling beach and glittering sea. It has many hotels for lodging and restaurant that provide good ambience and food at reasonable price.

Shankarpur Beach-    this is known as virgin beach which is 1hr drive from Mandarmani.  It also has a long sandy beach with many coconut sellers along the beach.

Birla Industrial and Technological Museum-   it is a science centre which has many galleries with models of satellite object.  The museum offers various educational activities for learning.

 How to reach Mandarmani

By AIR Mandarmani doesnt have it own airport. Therefore Kolkata airport is the best option if one is travelling by air. From Kolkata Airport taxi or cab is available which is the quickest way to reach Mandarmani.

By BUS Regular buses are available from Kolkata and Howrah. Both private and public buses are available here. It takes around 4-5hrs to reach Mandarmani in bus.

By TRAIN The nearest railway station is Digha. It takes around 30mins to reach Mandarmani . generally three trains are available from Howrah to Kolkata.

Mandarmani experiences moderate type of climate. The best time to visit is in spring. In winter also Mandarmani has a pleasant weather.
