Places to visit

Z-Point

It is spectacular vantage spot which can be reached by steep uphill trekking. Sunset from this point is the fabulous experience to trekkers.

Kalahatti Falls

It is an imposing waterfalls in Kemmangundi, cascading from 122 meters of height. It is also known as Kalahasti falls and Kallathigiri falls. It is a renowned religious destination for both Hindus and Muslims. One can find an ancient temple which was built in-between rocks during Vijayanagara kingdom.

Hebbe Falls

It is a secluding and a solitude attraction in Kemmangundi, gushing from 168 meters height. The water is well known for its medicinal properties and visitors prefer to take bath in this falls to get cure from skin diseases. It is a most relaxing and peaceful picnic spot.

Rock Garden

It is a famous tourist attraction. It is perched on rock. One can find a variety of flowers and plants here. Serene Sunset can be experience from this rock garden. 

Other Places

Shiva Temple and Rajendra Hills are the other known picnic spots in Kemmanagundi.

By Train

Tarekere railway station in Mangalore is about 15 km from Kemmanaundi is the closest railhead.

Kemmanagundi is well connected by number of public and private transport buses to reach from all nearby cities of Karnataka.

In summer 17-34°C and in winter 12-29°C. From October to March is the ideal time to visit Kemmanagundi.
