This popular summer resort and scenic hill station is expressed as 'Ooty of Andra Pradesh' , the entire narrow road is completely fringed by by dense eucalyptus, gulmohar, Allamanda and Jacaranda species, located at an altitude of 1,265 m. Pristine surroundings, charming weather and   scenic beauty are irresistible indeed. Picturesque holiday destination will surely rejuvenate souls and provides complete respite from gruelling summer months. Lush vegetation is proudly wooding the shady slopes. The journey to Horsley Hills is full of excitement as one can get to see wild animals and verdure of various plants.  The sizzling beauty of  various flowers sweep the tourists feet off and  the entire slope is occupied by frangnance of Sambangi flowers.  It is one of the few places offers Zorbing and Rappelling. Mallamma temple and Rishi valley School are the major highlights along with excellent sublime climate, frisky wind makes the tourists fond of this hill station. It is 160 km from Bangalore and 140 km from Tirupati. Horsley Hills Museum, Environmental park Kaundinya wildlife sanctuary, Gangothri Lake and Gaalibandaare the prominent are other mesmerizing attributes of this hill station. It acquired its name by W.D Horsley, Cudapah District Collector, who chose this hills as his summer residence. 

                            TOURIST PLACES IN HORSLEY HILLS

Kaunndinya Wild Life Sanctuary: Located 87 km from Horsley Hills. Best option for to plan an excursion. This is rich in flora and fauna. It houses various species of wild animals. One can get to see Deer, Cheetah,  Four horned  Antelope,  Mouse deer, Porcupine, Pea fowls, Jungle fowls, Sloth Bear, Jackals and so on. It will surely elite and rejoice  the souls of tourists.

Mallamma Temple: It is an ancient shrine located at the top of Horsley Hills. Malamma is a little girl, habitant of forest, taken care by elephants, she used to cure the tribal people with the herbs. Sudden disappearance of the girl, made the people to consider as a goddess and they built this temple.The age of this temple is unknown.  Horsley hills previously called as Mallamma Konda, acquired the name by this temple. 

Rishi Valley School: It is a boarding school, large campus spreads through 350 acres, founder Mr. Krishnamurthi, located close to Manadapalle, 3 hours of car drive from Bangalore. The serenity of this school is centered around a large Banyan Tree, one of the oldest tree in India. This school launched reforestation and conservation which made the school campus covered with greenery. It is one of the site where one can find rare Yellow throat bulbul birds. The campus hosts over 200 species of birds and good destination for nature lovers.

Other Places: Rajiv Gandhi Tiger Reserve located at Srisailam, Nallamala forest, Deer Park located 25 km from Hyderabad, Nelapattu Sanctuary known for its fresh water eco system serves as homage for more than 5000 migratory Grey Pelicans are the other point of attractions in Horsley Hills.

By Train: Mandanapalle rail head is the nearest , located 43 km from Horsley Hills
