Thindal Murugan Temple Thindal Murugan Temple is located at a distance of 6 km from the centre of the town and is one of the major worship places in the region. The worship centre is dedicated Lord Muruga, the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Periamariamman Temple Before 1200 years ‘Kongu Cholas’ formed this temple. The area of the temple is 3500 sq.ft. Periamariamman Temple is located at the Erode Town. According to myth Mariamman is the ‘Queen goddess’ having ‘Her’ own dynasty where ‘she’ is situated further having the power to eliminate the disease due to extreme heat like small pox, chicken pox, high temperature.
Saint Mary’s Church St. Mary’s Church is one of the ancient testaments of the city. Construction of the church began in the year 1867. The 100 ft high church construction features a holy bell. One of the contrasting features of the Catholic worship centre is the Jesus statue.
