Thirumananchery
It is a holy village located in Kumbakonam district of Tamilnadu. The name of this village denotes the land of marriage. This sacred town is associated with Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati where Lord Shiva remarried Umadevi. Devottes throng this village for the marriage ceremony and it is believed to be very auspicious to conduct marriage for a long marital life. This beautiful pilgrimage is very popular as proudly housing the Shiva temple which is located 6 km from Kutthalam. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva in the form of Kalyanasundarar nd his consort Umadevi. It was contructed during Chola period by Queen Sembianmadevi. There are several temple festivals celebrated with much pomp which attracts ample of tourists and devotees every year.

Thevaram Shrine
It is most popular temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The unique attraction here is sacred thevaram hymes are recited every day in this temple. It is renowned temple which promotes ancient arts and ritulasof Hindu religion.
Sapthasagara Tirtha
It is located near to Sri Uthvanganatha Swami temple. The holy tank is believed to have sacred water from seven seas. A dip in the water is believed to cure the childless couples. Devotees offer milk pudding to planet Raghu after the holy dip.
Sri Kalyanasundareshwarar Swamy Temple
It is located near Mayiladuthurai, devoted to Lord Shiva in the form of Kalyanasundarar. Legends claims that Goddess Parvati took birth in earth and remarried Lord Shiva. There is another shrine in this temple premises dedicated to Lord Varadharaja and his consorts Bhoodevi and Sridevi.
