SOLAN
 
 Solan is a spectacular city which is close to Shimla and is blessed with good climate whole throughout the year. Famed as the largest mushroom cultivating city in the country, Solan is also symmetrically popular for housing the oldest liquor manufacturing unit that was established here in the year 1855.

 Yamuna, Ghagar and Sutlej are the major rivers which flow through the district and form the lifeline of this sprawling city. You can tag along with locals and enjoy fishing in the catchment areas.  
 
 The crowning glory of the district is the Shoolini Devi temple. Buddhist monastery which is located on Rajgarh road and the Jatoli Shiv temples are the other prime spiritual centers which lie at close proximities to Solan.
 
 Nauni,16kms away has a forestry and horticulture university which is worth to drop by and gain knowledge about the local plant and animal species.
 
 Encompassing lush green, soothing weather and ambience makes the journey more lively and is also suitable to carry out trekking.  A visit to this hidden paradise with unfolding country side murals will definitely unwind the visitors from the day to day tensions of city life and promises the visitors to carry fresh memories in their mind which is hard to forget in his/her lifetime.

Kasauli : A chilled town with beautiful English style cottages is a cozy place to just lie down and relax. Vibrant flower carpet, overflowing greens and traditionally modeled shops beautifies up the place.

Sabhatu : It houses the ancient remains of the 19th century Gurkha fort.

Chail : Patiala King made this wondrous marvel as his summer resort. The view of the underlying Sutlej valley looks stunning from this place. Sweet fragranced Deodar and Pine trees add charm. The night view of Shimla and Kasauli looks marvelous.

Arki : The ancient art and tradition of the paramar dynasty is kept alive in this place.  The majestic palace is the prime attraction here.
