PANCHGANI
Panchgani is a beautiful hillstation located in the Satara district of Maharashtra. It is majestically placed at a height of 1334 m above the sea level. Adorned with natural prettiness this stunning hill offers delightful view of coastal plains on one side and the River Krishna on the other. Panchgani is easily accessible from Mahabaleshwar.

PLACES TO SEE
Rajpuri Caves : This beautiful cave is about 10 kms from Panchgani. Hindu mythology says that Pandavas spent some days here during their exile. Gomukh provides constant water supply to the nearby pond. It is believed that taking ablutions in the pond will wrad off the diseases. Lord Kartikeya temple also witnesses inflow of devotees.
Table Land : Located at about 4550 feet above the sea, it is the highest plain land which covers an area of 95 acres. It has a pretty carpet of different varieties of grass. Horse riding , Merry go rounds, mini trains, few food stalls & couple of games counters are the attractions.
Strawberry Garden : The Panchagani-Mahabaleshawar area is blessed with huge strawberry growing gardens. The best part is that these strawberries are grown using bio-fertilizers. Field tour can be undertaken to fill your eyes with the rich coloured fruits.
Bhilar Water Fall : Kudali River gets its water from this stunning waterfall. Kudali river is said to meet the Venna River at Sangam Mahuli near Satara.

Pune about 100 kms from Panchgani is the nearest place which well-connects the city by air, rail and road. Taxis can be hired from Pune airport and Railway station.
