MADH-MARVE
The stunning Madh-Marve beaches have historical importance. The elegant Madh Fort (Versova fort), located in the Madh Island was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century, is now a famous shooting spot. The ancient St. Bonaventure Church located on the stunning Erangal beach witnesses huge inflow of visitors during Feast day in the Month of January. It is one of the spectacular churches constructed during the Portuguese reign in the 16th century. The sensational Gorai, Dana Pani and Manori beaches can be reached easily from Marve beach. Visiting the Aarey milk colony where the lip-smacking dairy products are prepared is truly memorable.
Ferry Services from Marve beach are provided to the Essel World, an amusement park greatly loved and enjoyed by both kids and elders. The high lingering waves of the sea is a delight to watch but unfortunately beach is not safe for swimming due to rapid water force.
