Kufri
Kufri is a small beautiful hill station which is concerning of great hiking, adventurous skiing, scenic beauties and a chill environment. This place is considered as a main tourists spot near Shimla. It is also well known for its natural parks and picnic spots. Tourist who like adventures, travel through Kufri in winters to delight skiing and tobogganing by its snow-covered inclines. Also people can enjoy the Pony or a Yak Ride. The most elevated point in the surrounding places, Kufri has a Himalayan Wild life Zoo which exhibits rare Antelopes, Felines and Birds including the Himalayan Monal which is the state bird of Himachal Pradesh. The locations around Kufri can be viewed from the nearby Indira Tourist Park. Tourists can explore Kufri and its environment also on hogback. They can travel through dense woods around Kufri to the Mahasu.

The best time to visit Kufri is during the season of summer, between April and June. There is heavy snowfall from December to January.
