Rautpar Bujurg (also called Buzurg) Village with Census of India-2011 village-code 187557 is located in Gola Tahsil of Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh, India. Rautpar is part of Pipri Bujurg Grampanchayat. It is 12.2 km away from Police Station Belghat in the east and 6.3 km from CD Block Uruwa in the south. The village was inhabited before 1800 AD by Ghulam Nabi Siddiqui son of Shaikh Mohammed Nadir Siddiqui. Shaikh Mohammed Nadir migrated from Yusufpur- Mohammadabad, district Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, and settled in Shahpur Kot, located in Gola Tahsil of Gorakhpur district. His ancestors were much closer to Nawab of Shahpur Kot Syed Shah Enayat Ali. Because of good relations with the royal family, Shaikh Nadirs father and uncle were appointed in Nawabs army as officers. Shaikh Nadir was a child at that time. Nawab took responsibility of Nadir and gave him a reputed post in his special court when he reached maturity. Shah Enayat Ali awarded him two villages, one was Khokharjot, located in Azamgarh district which was gradually sold to others and the second was Rautpar which is 2 km away from Shahpur town. Ghulam Nabi chose to reside at Rautpar and afterward his offspring continued to spread. The residents of the Rautpar village are Sunni, Barelvi Muslim landlords and their tribe were called Siddiqui. They represented themselves with the surname Siddiqui and it was also their Family tree. Residents of the village carried a title called Milki and they were famous as Zamindar too. Being Milki they increased the population of villages by providing shelters to many Shaikh Mansouri (also called Naddaf or Dhuniya Muslim). Afterward, Naddafs were settled in the southwest corner of the village. Milki gave them lands to build houses and cultivate. Until recently, quarrels and disputes were being resolved by Milki because for some villages (Pipri Bujurg, Pipari Khurd, Marad, and more) along with Rautpar, they (Siddiqui/Milki) were the arbitrators. Two promising children were born in Rautpar in 1929-31and became great, famous Islamic scholars. They were Allama Mufti Badruddin Ahmed Qadri and Allama Mufti Naeemuddin Qadri who brightened the name of Rautpar not only in the country but across the world by spreading the message of Islam. Some of the residents of Rautpar moved to Pune, started business in the bakery industry was highly successful. Some of them moved to Kanpur, Lucknow, Bhiwandi, Mumbai, and other regions as well as overseas for the job and they improved the standard of living. Cultivation was still the basic source to obtain the grains. Milki always prioritized education and literacy as the main focus but due to vicissitudes, many had to leave the school, college, and Madrasa to feed their families. Most residents maintained Milki culture and lifestyle. In 2000, many youngsters went abroad and raised the earning graph rapidly while few started business in Delhi and Pune. This village is quite highlighted among neighbor's villages and towns because of its rich history and way of living.
