OverView of Mahipat Singh Ka Purwa
It is a small village surrounded by Daulatpur, Baraua, simahra and mahtepur villages. It is said that in ancient times it was a village of majority of Kshatriyas of chauhan clan and then the name of the village was also different. But after getting the gaddi of chauhans It became the village of majority of Sengars.Iniially there were two Sengar-brothers, the elder being Mahipat Singh and after his memory the name of the village is based. There were about 15 joint families till1980.There is a nearby Inter college Sri Ram Mishra Inter College situated at Devarpur. Now there is a Primary school in the village . There is majority of Kshatriyas of Sengar clan. About three to four dwellings are of Kshatriyas of Baghel clan and rest three dwellings are of scheduled caste. First time it came into limelight when a boy named Birendra Singh Sengar S/O Sri L.S. Sengar, an illiterate due to specific circumstances and a very small farmer, but genius and farsighted man of the village and the student of Janta Inter College Ajitmal,the District Etawah (now District Auraiya ) topped the list of successful candidates in the examination of High school of U.P.Board in 1972.After this success there remained no longer financial hindrances due to being awarded National Talent Search Scholarship in 1973. Till then the literacy rate was very poor but improved a lot after 1972.His rest five younger brothers also got the impetus and boost from his brother's success and and all tried the same Aim-Object and followed accordingly, although couldn't get the same success, but shown the in education passing with honors/first divisions. Now he as well as all his younger brothers are doing the service of the public and nation through government jobs as well as by government undertakings . His elder brother also retired as superintendent of central excise and customs as of late. Similarly one boy is serving in UP Police as Sub Inspector and other one retired as canal-magistrate.Thus the new generation and next generation of the village is making progress and is of broader thinking.Edit below overview about Mahipat Singh Ka Purwa
