The state of Haryana is composed of 21 districts, out of which Fatehabad is one. In Ain-i-Akbari, trace of the initial record of the administrative division can be found. The palaces of Agroha, Ahroni, Barwala, Bhattu, Tohana, Hisar, Fatehabad and Hansi occupied major portion of the region, which is occupied by the existing day Hisar District. A certain portion of the Delhi Subahs Hisar Feroz Sarkar was composes by these palaces.
The Ghagghar-Yamuna plains, which is the alluvial plain constitutes the land of the district. A slow shift from plains to the Thar Desert can be seen on the southern and the western portion of the district. The geomorphic course of action has much likeness with the aridness of the climate, both of the latest time period as well as past geologic time phase. These geomorphic processes are the cause of the presence of the landscape design that the district possesses.
