The district of Mansa was formed on April 13, 1992. The population and area of the district are very less. It falls on the rail line between Mansa-Jind-Delhi section.

 

Samadhi of Bhai Gurdas: Bhai Gurdas is believed to be the founder of Mansa. This Samadhi was built in his fond memory. Legend has it that it was this place where he meditated because his wife was not sent back to him by his in-laws. The months of March and April observe a fair held at this place.

Sardulgarh: It is a Thermal Plant. Its construction started on November 19, 1969. It produces power of 110 MW. A sum of Rs. 115 crores were engaged in the completion of this project.
