Faridkot District
Out of the twenty two numbers of districts of the Indian state of Punjab, the district of Faridkot is one. The district of Faridkot is considered to be a Malwa District as per the Geo-Area of Punjab. The name of the district has been derived from the name of the person called Baba Farid. In the entire South-East Asia, this place makes up one of the biggest cotton markets.
