Pushkar
Pushkar is the famous pilgrimage site and considered as sacred city of Hindus. It belongs to Rajasthan state and around 10 km from Ajmer. The holy Lake in Pushkar is famous among devotees. There are many associated folk stories with this Lake. It is believed to be formed by the lotus petal which felt down after Brahma destroyed asura by lotus flower. Ablution in this Lake is considered much sacred. It has rich history. Some legends claim that the Puashkar Lake shores were hosting 52 palaces of various kings and 500 temples. The entire Desert is bustling with fairs, festivals, safaris and pilgrimages. It is also a wonderful place for shopping. Consumption of alcohol and meat are prohibited within 5 km of Pushkar Lake.

Brahma’s Temple
