Kumaon
Kumaon I the fantastic hill station and located in the eastern part of Uttarkhand state of India. The entire region of Kumaon is a heaven for those who have passion on adventure. In and around this region, there are many popular hill stations, mainly Nainital. Jim Corbett Natonal Park is one of the mportant places in Kumaon. It is renowned tiger reserve. Several travelers and visitors throng this place to get a glimpse of Bengal tigers. Other nearby place is Ranikhet which is sacred pilgrimage center of Hindus. It is a tiny and peaceful hillstaton and hardly crowded. One can enjoy the excellent views of mountains and secluded surroundings. Places to visit
Jim Corbett National Park
It is most popular tiger reserve and it is flocked by people mainly by royal Bengal tigers. There are 50 species of mammals, antelopes, 25 species of reptiles, other animals and birds.
Bhimtal Lake
It is the center of attraction which is bigger than Naini lake. There is a small island in the lake which is visited through boat. Along the lake shore, one can find a beautiful Bheemeshwar temple with a Dam of 40 meter height.
Other Places
Narayan Ashram, Mayawati Ashram, Sattal Lake and Panchachuli Glacier are other known places in Kumaon region.

By Air
The region of Kumaon has its own airport and well connected to Delhi and Dehradun.
By Train
It has its own rail head; Kathagodam and ramnagar are two major stations of Kumaon.
By Road
There are number of buses are available to reach Kumaon from various cities and towns of Uttarkhand.

In summer 15-30 C and in winter 0-24 C and best visited from March to June.
