Congregation of various tribal groups, their culture, dance forms, eateries and traditional practices make Ambassa culturally blessed. Their bamboo and cane articals are gorgeous and artistic and also greatly praised for their artful and colour-filled fine shawls.
 
 Made up of dense jungles with thick green cover it is also a huge treasure house of affluent natural resources. A voluminous mass of carnivores, herbivores and avian population can be witnessed in Gumti Wildlife sanctuary. Barking Deer, Bison, wild goat and sambar are the prominent species.
 
 Ambassa is also a markable destination from pilgrimage point of view. Longtharai mandir, a radiant mandir where Lord Shiva is the presiding deity is aptly placed in a hilly background and colourful floral carpet soothes and relaxes the mind with its aroma therapy. History says that Lord Shiva took a short break here en route to Kailash Mountains. Kamaleshwari Mandir dedicated to Kali Mata is about 35 kms from Ambassa.
