Dah is situated on small hilltops of last ridge lines of Shivalik hills.It is combination of Village Kulara, Balkhod and Naswal , having Panchyat, Dah- Kulara. Closet City is Pathankot.Many busses pass through via Vill- Damtal-Mohtly -Dah Kulara and Indora. It is Birth Place Of Gulerias,from Guler, offshoots of Katoch of Kangras.A saying goes that a small contigent of Guleria brothers were sent to guard South Western approach to kangra valley from intruders/Raiders.They established their defencs around hill tops of Dah, Kulara, Malasani and Boungle di Vadi. Prior to the arrival of Guleria Rajputs,at Dah DAWALS and at Kulara, KULARIAS WERE residing who shifted to nearby villages of Gurah-Giala and Moutli-Sirat,respectively. Gulerias are good shooters.They are Chanderwanshias,and are good at Night Fighting and direction keeping. From Katoch ,those who bifurcated are Gulerias from Guler, Dadwal from Dada, Jaiswals fom Jaswan and Sabaiyias from Siba.Beti Bachayo Beti Padawo Abhian was first started in village Dah- Kulara in 60s, by Mian Gopi Singh Ji. He went door to door and and collected uneducated Girls of all Age groups and started their schooling in his own house.His eldest Son Bishamber Singh Ji after his higher studies wanted to go out to serve, he advised him to stay back and provide his services to the villagers.When this News of Beti Bachao Beti Padao reached British Sarkar, his School was declared Government Aided Girl School, Dah Kulara and was granted few Rupees of Annual Grant . Mian Gopi Singh Ji brought Second Reform in his Village was, In the light of MUZARA Act. He was the first one to start ploughing his own fields/ Agriculture land and educated villagers to do Kheti Badi themselves for their living.TODAY, Dah kulara is growwing best of Kinnus (Oranges) and Dushahree (Mangoes).Edit below overview about Dah
