Village Shakalpura as per current generation is known for being hometown of RAMA PILOT wife of Ex M.P congress leader Mr. Rajesh Pilot.
Inhibited by KASANA belonging to GUJJAR TRIBE/COMMUNITY.
Village is having population of approx. 1800/- adults as per voting rights.It is Central and soul to around 5 villages in and around this area.As people have moved out of this village and settled at their farms long way back .
Prominent place of Interest is SATIYA PUL whose legend is not much known to current generation.Also having KR INTER COLLEGE at one end , has been hub for education from pre independence era .Pass out have made it to various key positions in Delhi Administration.and some families even settled abroad.
