It is a village specifically start from Angamaly Municipal limit from East and end with Mallussery Road Border by West. South End with Pattathanam Bund Road having a Pump House. It was a beautiful Paddy field and a fine place for tourist once upon a time. Now with water logging it is filled with mud and water is shabby. Once upon a time we used drink water from the Paddy filed, which was that much pure. Now with waste dubbing place and Chicken business people located in Vatapparambu putting waste on it and it become so dangerous to put in. This Bund build in the year 1979 which is having very fine beauty around to look. This Bund also called Pattathanam Road to link Mallussery, It reduces 2.25 Km from Angamaly to Mallussery. Pattathanam Road is straight from Kodussery Angamaly Road and have no confusion to reach as there is no link roads, except some private roads to residence. Bird watchers used to come to this place during summer seasons. Pattathanam field is a very beautiful place that is why I written this much. Other Kodussery is a village of poor people with poor culture. Kodussery is having very good Community Hall called Kodussery math Hall. This village is having a Good Church and two temple in famous. It is a peace full locality. there is plenty of water, pollution free area and full of back bays. Kodussery surrounded by river and Paddy field. It is very good to construct Villas around the water side. Now three group of Villas came up in good localities. Hindu community is very peaceful people as well. There is religious cult or political cult. All are respect each other. the village is 5 Km away from Cochin Internal Airport. It is well connected with Angamaly in eastern side, Aluve in Southern side and West in mala side and East and South well connected with Airport, Airway Stations. Only one problem lock of bus facilities. it is short distance from Town having all facilities, Vatapparambu is the junction point having three shopping centre. Everything you will get in this town,. It is the speciality of this Junction that everything is available. You need not go to Angamaly or to Aluva for a shopping. This place is very food for fish farming. Majaly Thodu/river is flowing through this paddy field. This place centred by Vatapparambu having three major club (1) ROYAL CLUB (2) YMCA.
