The Indian State of Haryana constitutes of 21 districts. The district of Yamuna Nagar is one such district. On 1st November, 1989, the district was constructed. The administrative headquarters of the district is located in the Yamuna Nagar town. The boundary of the district is formed in the north by the state of Himachal Pradesh, in the east by Uttar Pradesh state, in the south by Karnal, in the southwest by Kurukshetra district and in the west by the district of Ambala.
