OverView Of Kadirabad

Kadirabad is a prominent village in Mahaich pargana of Chandauli District (earlier it was in Varanasi District). This is kshatriya dominated village. Gaharwar and Nagvanshi are two gotras live here. Gaharwars were migrated from Village- Jamurkha  about 3 kms east of Kadirabad. Nagvanshis migrated from Village- Mahuji in Narwan pargana, about 10 kms east of Kadirabad.

Kadirabad is the born place of Babu Prashidh Narayan singh. He was the 1st graduate in Ghazipur District (till 1925 kadirabad was in Distt.- Ghazipur)&Gulab Singh freedom fighter .He was major roll in dhanapur thanna kand.

He was the 1st leader of Varanasi & Chandauli district. He was the 1st Chairman of Banaras District Board. A long time ago, Kadirabad was the kingdom of Kadir Khan.

At present, 70% persons are working in goverment & private sector and remaining 30% are doing agricutural & dairy business. 99% people are well educated. 80% population of Kadirabad are kshatriya, 15% are Harijan & 5% are of other cast.

Bollywood Directors Anurag Kashyap( Gangs of Wasseypur and many blockbusters) and Abhinav Kashyap     ( Dabang) are from this village. Many engineers, doctors, academicians, FDA regulator are from this village and they are holding key posts / responsibilities in India and abroad.
