jotana is a beautiful village among all villages of Gujarat.it  has 60% population of Hindu(major population of patel.other casts like rabari,thakor,darbar,prajapati,bhraman,nae,harijan,devi pujak,raval etc) and 40% Muslims population.it has population of near about 15,000.

there are two school in jonata having named shri ram sarva vidhyalaya and kumar prathmik school.

there is one ITI(industrial training institute ) presently working in the building of shri ram sharva vidhyalaya.

a seperate building is under costruction for ITI & diploma engineering college.
