Silawar is a vilage situated near disrict head quater shamli. Silawar name was drived from name of king Silvi.Firstly it was the village of Mali cast ,but one day when the king was going with his family for Ganga Snan to Hridwar. He with his family and cabinet rested at silawar village.The main event started when king lovely horse falled down into the nearby well because it was poked by village childern.In this the horse had been died ,by this the king got angery and he planned to destroy whole village.But suddenly his wife stoped him not to do so. She convinced him by saying that they are going for worship of God.So king cancelled his plan and procceeded for Hridwar.But villager feared that the king would destroy their village after Ganga Snan and they leaved village next day.But when the king retuned back ,he the whole village was empty . He felt regret on his conduct and planned to rehabiliate this village. He ordered his PM to rehabiliate this village.
