Salarabad is basically a Rajput's village, the village is established by the migrant RAJPUT family camed from Rajasthan with some of their neighbour mates.this family ruled salarabad and nearby villages also.Mr Cheda Singh and Jaswant Singh are the zamidar brother from this village, Mr Noubat singh son of Mr Cheda Singh became a good renowned businessman at that time from this village, futher his bussiness is run by Mr Dharampal Singh.This village is politically strong from about last 25 years because of one famous personality in nearby areas(dhampur rajya sabha) Mr. Krishanpal Singh(s/o Mr Dharampal Singh).This Village has a Ashram of Swami Krishan Swaroop Maharaj, at which a large scale bhandara is also organised every year in december, this tradition is till now continued from about past 45 years.Due to Salarabad's relevance to ruling history, a unique tradition is also followed of celebrating HOLI festival since this village establishment.
