Alampur is a small village situated in kadi taluka with a population of 5000 people. There is government school since 35 years (gujarati medium) manage by gujarat government. Education available till 8th standard. Population includes hindu and muslims. Majority of muslims are from sayyed family. Attraction includes temple, nagina masjid, gujarati shada (school) and oldest place called "kuwa" by local people. We can define kuwa as a place of buffalo stable (biggest and oldest stable of this village) build by 2 sayyed brothers in 1958. (mr. usman miya kalu sayyed and ahmed miya kalu sayyed) now this place is manage by their child. This is the first place where borewell introduced in alampur by usman miya sayyed and ahmed miya sayyed in 1979 to distribute water to nearby farmers land.

How to reach Alampur ? If you are coming from other than gujarat than you can reach Ahmedabad Railway station and then you have to pick bus (by Gujarat govt) for Kadi Bus depot ,(aprx ticket /passenger is Rs.32) there are 7 to 8 direct buses for Kadi and then you can take local auto to reach Alampur .(aprx fare would be 80 for 4 passengers) Distance from ahmedabad to Kadi is 40 km and from Kadi to Alampur is 10 km.
