This village is famous because of its road connectivity giving access to nearby cities like Meerut, historical places like Hastinapur and other 5-6 villages. It has a beautiful temple at the entrance of village. it has a water tank also.

Population & Settlement Type-(Linear): Most of the population of this village is settled along the main road that passes through. Majority of the population of this village belong to jat community who are nearly progressive (Bassi, Goyat, Maan, Sandhu, and others). The village is free from social evils like Khap and honour killing.

Demography and its achievements- The youth of this village has begun to look beyond farm fields. In recent years, many young boys and girls have managed to do well in gaining employment under both government as well as private services.

-Several boys have got selected in State and Delhi police services in the recent years. Also, several young girls of this generation have begun to opt for teaching as a career in both public and private schools.

Special achievements- The emerging stand up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi hails from this very village.

We have one of our daughters selected in CSE-2012, now serving as an IRS officer.

And a few young boys are serving in Banking, PSU’s and other reputed enterprises.

Several young boys and girls are pursuing their under-grad in Delhi University and some in renowned engineering colleges. 

People of this village are slowly becoming conscious of the transformative role of education.
