I volunteered at a school operated by Indian Vietnamese Buddhist Trust in Hariharpur,Gaya,Bihar India We dug seven wells for drinking water,I arranged foreign volunteer Teachers,we also had a staff of Local Teachers who had not graduated High School but who were very committed to their Voluntary service.I arranged a Teachers appreciation day complete with lunch and Touring of Local Buddhist Holy spots,finalizing our day with a swim in a local waterfall.We payed large amounts for electricity however due to rampant corruption no electric wires were ever run.I also implemented a curiculum to match that of public schools.We had a picture of Dr.Ambedkar on each classroom wall.
