CHANDRABHAGA BEACH
 
 The states lying on the Eastern side of the Indian sub- continent are the hidden gems which are bestowed with the nature’s elegance and grandeur in excess, so is the 9th largest Indian state, Orissa which immensely enthralls the observers with its imposing pompous and boastful atmosphere.

From Puri it is about 30 kms away and is just 2kms away from the world famous Konark Sun temple. The water is known to have great curing properties and also has some mythical story attached to it. Legends say that Sambha, who is said to be the son of Lord Krishna was healed of leprosy when he undertook a tough penance here and pleased Sun god.
 
 Being rich in aquatic life, the beach plays a perfect anchor for activities such as swimming, boating and other beach games. It is also aptly suited to enjoy a long lovely stroll along a sandy coastline gaze at the lingering tides and fill your eyes and rejuvenate your senses as you watch the huge orange sun sinking in the charming clean waters at dusk. Scaling the lofty light house helps in getting splendid view of the encompassing waters and land. Setting up of deer park adds to the store house of Chandrabhaga.

Puri, about 30 kms far is the prime transport hub for people who wish to travel by Rail or Air.
Also buses and taxis connect the beach well with other parts of the state.
