well connected national highway (no 5) of Chennai and Kolkata. Satpara town on
the eastern bank of the lake is about 50 km (30 mi) by road southwest
of the city of Puri and at a distance of 100 km (60 mi) from Bhubaneswar
WHEN TO VISIT
The best
time to visit puri is from September to March. It’s advisable to avoid visit
puri in summer and in monsoon as the beaches will not be open, it has a uniform
climate almost all the year, there are many hotels so staying is never an issue.
