Tinsukia
It is a famous picnic spot and a wonderful wildlife sanctuary in Assam. It is considered one of the best tourist destinations in North East India. It is located around 500 km from the state capital Guwahati. Marut Nandan Kanan Park is the prime attraction in Tinsukia. Another chief place is Shiv Dam. The most interesting spot is Dipru Saikhowa National Park which is one of the major bio diversity spot in the world. One can see several wild life species, mammals and birds here. Feral horses slow Lories, white winged wood ducks, water buffalos, elephants, Gangetic dolphins, and even hoolock gibbons are some of the species found here. There is also a temple called Bell temple is another good and worth visitng place. Bherjan Borjan Padumoni wildlife sanctuary is another nice place to hang on with friend and family.

Sadiya
It was once served as a central market for tribes. Tameshwari temple is famous here. This can be reached by crossing the river Brahmaputra through a ferri.
