Mangaldai
Mangaldai is the scenic city belongs to Darrang district in Assam. It coined its name from the king’s Daughter. It is one of the primary cities in Assam located at an elevation of 34 meters. It is an important center of agricultural products. There are several interesting places in and around Mangaldai. Gandhi Smriti Park, Patharughat Swaheed Minar Khatra Satra. Kamakshya Devalaya, Pukhuria Beel, Bar Masjid and Dihing Satra are some of the most interesting places of Mangaldai. The nearby attractions are Sankardev Kalakshetra, Assam State Museum and Basistha Ashram in Guwahati. There are two major wildlife sanctuaries namely Barnadi Wildlife Sanctuary and Orang National Park. It is an ideal place for adventurous buffs and nature lovers.
