Guwahati

Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park is the prime attraction here. It was established in 1908 and got the status of National Park in the year of 1974. It is also announced as world heritage site by UNESCO in 1985. One can find several wild life species here.
Kamakya Temple
It is around 7 km from Guwahati and it holds great value in history and archeology. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Shakti. It is well constructed and worth visiting place.
