Jorhat

Gibbon Wildlife sanctuary
It is the major attraction in Jorhat. The semi ever green forests and tea plantations are the highlighting feature. One can get a glimpse of variety of flora and fauna. It is also an ideal place for bird watching.
Gymkhana Club
It is located around 4 km from Jorhat and was constructed in the year of 1876 by the Slimmon who is the secretary of this club. It has one of the oldest golf clubs in India.
