Barpeta is a beautiful pilgrimage town located in the state of Assam, India. It is the place where Srimanata Snakardeva landed in Barpeta. The saint had constructed a famous Namgarh here which is very frequently visited by several devotees.

Pari Hareshwar Devalaya, Baradi Satara, Patbaushi Satara, Ganakkuchi Satara and Sundaridiya Satara are other important places in Assam.

Guwahati airport is the nearest one to reach by air.

Barpeta has excellent train connectivity and Barpeta has its own railway station.

Regular bus services are available from Barpeta to Guwahati.
