The district of Valsad, located in Gujarat state, contains the town of Valsad. Mahatma Gandhi started his infamous Dandi March from this village and this is why it is remembered much. Somnath Mahadev Museum is another place to go, when making a trip to Valsad. This is considered to be having the maximum heights among all the temples in the state of Gujarat. A famous site for many pilgrimages, this temple is also a famous place amidst the residents of the place.
Meherji- Rana library: A massive assortment of books on literature is available in the library, named the Dastur Meherji- Rana library, which is situated in the Vaslad town. The library is particularly interesting for all the book lovers.
Kalai Beach: Situated in the place called Kalai in the district of Valsad, the beach sets the mood with its lush green background and the orchid garden. This lengthy and broad beach is quite a popular attraction for the tourists.
Parnera Hill: Situated in the district of Valsad, Gujarat is also another tourist attraction. The main feature of the place is the Parnera Fort. Another site to visit is the Parnera Hill, which again is a major crowd puller. Each year, on the Parnera Hill, a fun fair is hosted in the month of October.
Saibaba Temple: Situated on the Tithal Beach in Valsad, the temple of Saibaba is another place to visit for the tourists.

Tadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir: A renowned temple in the town of Valsad, the Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is famous for the various types of Shivling. Since there is no ceiling and the sun shines over the Shivlings continuously, the names ‘Tadkeshwar’ is given to the temple.
Tithal Beach: Another of the famous crowd puller of Valsad, is the Tithal Beach. The plush blue of the Arabian Sea encircles the place. Magnificent temples of Shri Sai Baba and Lord Shri Swami Narayan are also situated here. Many of the appealing characteristics of the beach have made the Government to take action and thus they have built some nice and pretty platforms close to the beach.
Ubharat Beach: This place is filled with astonishing nature’s gifts such as the beautiful and the peaceful beach or the grandiose and glowing atmosphere of Ubharat. The imagination of the tourists is fascinated and intrigued by the beauty of Ubharat.
Vansda National Park: Covering more than 24 square kilometers of land, the Vandsa National Park was owned previously by Vandsa’s Maharaja. It was his personal forest; however the Government has now taken it under its jurisdiction. Many a variety of animals such as tigers, leopards, four horned antelope, pangolins, rusty spotted cats, pythons and giant squirrels can be seen here among which the monkeys and the langoors are the favorites. Even during the broad daylight, some of the portions of the park stay in dark since huge and tall trees swoop over the park. One needs to take permission beforehand in order to enter the forest.
Wilson Hill: Situated in Valsad, this station is set at a distance of 27 Kms from Dharampur. The altitude of the place is 750 meters from the sea level. The famous “chhatri” made of marbles is the prime attraction of this place. The “chhatri” was built addressing it to the British Governor Wilson. A splendid and breathtaking glimpse of the close by hills as well as that of the wide variety of plants and animal and a glimpse of the Arabian Sea is given by the Wilson Hill. It is one of the best sites for people who are interested in activities like rock climbing and mountain climbing.

By air: The nearest airport is located in Vadodara.
