Yes we are talking about Sela_Pass a true snowy paradise of Arunachal Pradesh which has visitors not only from within our nation but also from worldwide. 

 

 Sitting at an altitude of 4170 mts above the sea, it experiences chilled winters with extreme snowfalls, is greatly loved and admired by snow lovers, naturists and also trekkers.  It is advised to contact the local folk about the weather conditions and later scale the peak as landslides are quite common that abandon you from reaching your dream destination. 

 

 A natural fresh water lake named Sela leaves you speechless with its stunning elegance. There is also a memorial dedicated to an Indian soldier named Jaswant Singh who is said to have bravely faced the Chinese soldiers single handedly and finally gave up his life in the Indo-China war that took place in the year 1971. 

 

 If playing in snow is your only agenda then it is a must visit place for you. Please carry water and food as it is not available in such great heights.

 Jeeps are available from Diring and Tawang. Guwahati is a major place that has an airport and a railway station. Buses can be used to reach Tawang.
