Located in the district of Gurgaon, the Saras complex is an amazing and breathtakingly beautiful location. The background of the place consists of the panoramic Aravalli Hills. The dent like area before the hills was made into a lake. The water of the lake mainly comes from the rain streams. The length of the lake is 8 Kms. Kikar trees are present on its slender corners.
One of the major attractions among the tourists is the Saras Tourist Complex, which is situated on the bank. In the year 1972, the complex started functioning as a retreat for angling; however in the year 1991, accommodation facilities were also started. As many as 15 cottages, if not more, are present for accommodating the tourists. The decorations of the room have been done wonderfully. It has all the amenities. One balcony is present in each one of the cottages. A glimpse of the lake can be seen from all of the balconies. Present on the hill slopes covered in lush greeneries, are numerous vibrant colored tents. One can opt for cottages or tents according to one’s budget plan.
Another place called Damdama is also a good place to visit. The name of the place has been derived from the name of a village, which is situated close by. The area covered by the place is 66 acres. The place is renowned for the amenities provided for the guests and for the camps organized during the winter months.
Rock climbing activities are done in the hills located nearby. Canoeing and kayaking are done in the huge water body present here. Other activities that are carried out here are cycling, staying in tents, campfires and numerous indoor games.

By rail: The names of the railway stations that connect Saras are Gurgaon, Basai Dhankot and New Delhi.
By air: The nearest airport is the Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is situated at a distance of 14 Kms.
