Gurgaon

Gurgaon is a district in the Indian state of Haryana. It is a major business centre of Haryana. It is also growing in a steady and rapid way to become one of the fastest developing commercial centers of NCR. It also houses a developing IT sector. It is also an intriguing location for making a trip for a vacation. Numerous nicknames such as “Satellite City”, “Guru’s Land” and many more, are given to this city.  

Till sometime back, Gurgaon has been an underdeveloped region; however the rapid growth and development it has witnessed is spectacular. Sultanpur Sanctuary: At a distance of 16 Kms from Gurgaon, the Sultanpur Sanctuary is situated. For the people who loves birds, this place is a must see. One can find numerous species of birds such as ruddy ducks, cranes, pelicans etc. In order to make the bird watch comfortable and enjoyable for the visitors, watch towers and other hide out places are there present on the sanctuary grounds. 

Temple of Sheetla Devi: Huge numbers of followers of Hinduism, come here to visit this temple all round the year. This place is enormously honored by the devotees, since the temple is situated on one of the Shakti Peeths.

Nuh: At a distance of 45 Kms from the city of Gurgaon, the ancient town of Nuh is situated. Numerous structure made up of sandstones are present here. These structures reflect the Rajput and the Islamic architectural style. The shaking towers are one attraction which made this place renowned. 

Sohna: A huge number of tourists come here to the town of Sohna, making it a much sought after vacationing spot. There are numerous and nice lodging facilities; there are also family huts. One can also opt for the camping huts and enjoy a nice leisurely and enjoyable time.

Damdama Lake: The Damdama Lake is situated in the southern corner of Gurgaon. Numerous amenities such as restaurants, hovercraft, boating activities are provided in the spectacular and breathtaking location.

Leisure Valley Park: The area of the Leisure Valley Park is 25 acres. The majestic musical fountains which lights up the palace during the night time, is the principal attraction of this place. This fountain is a unique piece in the entire city. The illumination caused by the fountain, along with the water coming out present a breathtakingly beautiful image for the visitors. This place attracts a huge number of crowds.

By rail: The closest railway terminal is located in Nanded. It is set at a distance of 20Kms from the city of Gurgaon.

By air: The closest air terminal is located at Nanded. It is situated at a distance of 18 Kms from Gurgaon.
