 Coming to historic attractions, Jagannath temple the 18th century marvel which has a unique idol of the presiding deity is frequented by devotes from Orissa, Bhutan and Bengal. Karnagarh has two majestic temples named Mahamaya and Chapaleshwar which is constructed in Orissa style. After seeking the blessings of Kali Mata at Habibpur catch a glimpse of the architectural grandeur of the 17th century Rukmini temple and also a divine visit to Sitala temple relaxes and pampers the mind. 

 

 Gopegarh Heritage park with beautifully laden walking path, flower carpet and boating facilities is a heaven of nature’s bounty. People from all age groups love to relax and wander about in  the peace and tranquil setting. 

 

 Andar Mahal, Dwadash Dwari fort and John Pierce tomb are the sites greatly liked by the history buffs.

 Travel to Midnapore is not an issue as it is a major city which is frequented by lot of trains and is well connected by bus and taxis to the close by cities.
