HARIHARESHWAR
Harihareshwar is renowned for its ancient temples, roaring beach and exotic sea food. To the North of the beach is a land where the Prime ministers of the Maratha kingdom had dwelled. Located in the Raigad district, the place is surrounded by four hills named after the gods and is called the Dakshin Kashi.
Diveagar, a nearby place rose to the heights of fame on one fine day of Sankashti Chaturthi in 1997 when an antique half statue of Lord Ganesh made of gold and jewels was found in a farm.
Tale is a small town which is present at the foot of the Talegad fort. It has famous caves called Kuda Caves. The writings and paintings on the walls of the caves were carried out during the time of King Shilahar.
Srivardhan, is a fabulous place which is about 20kms from Harihareshwar. It is famous for Shiv temple.
Harihareshwar is a treat to the entire family.
PLACES TO VISIT
Srivardhan : Srivardhan attracts visitors by beautiful beach and ancient temples. The important temples are Jiwaneshwar temple, Somjai temple.
Peshwe Smarak : It is the place where the Prime Ministers of the Maratha Kingdom resided. The old passage to the Laxminarayan Temple which peshwa’s used is still in existence.
Bagmandala Beach: The cool and calm beach with inviting waters will surely rejuvenate our heart and souls.

Behind the temple there is a spectacular beach and also there is a fishing village Bharadkhol, from where fresh fish can be purchased every morning.

By Air : Nearst airport is the Mumbai Airport which is about 215 kms
By Rail : Mangaon is the nearest railway point which is about 65 kms on Konkan Rly.
By Road: Harihareshwar is about 230 kms from Mumbai and can be travelled via Panvel-Mangaon-Goregaon Phata on Mumbai-Goa Highway.
Shriwardhan to Harihareshwar is about 20 kms.
Bangmandala to Harihareshwar is about 4 kms.
