I'm Raghul from Periya Bickkatty village. There are about 200 family live in our village. A village is a quiet and lonely place where is prefect for rest and appreciation of the beauties of nature. In a village, people do live too close to one another. Flowers, fruit plants and vegetables surround our house. All this makes our village green and fresh. There are many streams and rivers near our house that gave beauty to our place. There is very much peace and brotherhood among all the people of our village. The people remains always united for the benefit and growth of the village. Our village is panorama of the charming scenes of nature. The scenery of the changing seasons has a profound effect of our village life. It brings a divine touch into human mind. Hence, our village life is full of divine beauty. Our villagers are content with the necessities of life. They have no liking for luxury. our villagers are mostly field-workers. They take to farming. All of them follow the trade of their respective castes. Our village people take part in fairs and festivals. The celebrations are quite plain and simple. They attend the folk dance and the open air dramas. Our village temple maintains their social and moral upkeep. Our village deity is looked upon with awe and faith. Caste-customs are rigidly followed. NO DOUBT "PLACE OF HEAVEN IS PERIYA BICKKATTY, Where God lives in. Periya Bickkatty - Truly a Heaven". I'm very proud of my village.
