maidan garhi is the combination of two villages, madaan( now maidan) and
garhi. it got combined and formed in early 1940's. in earlier times
there is only garhi village.. in which very less amount of JAAT
community stays.. then the people of garhi decided to expand their
strength and they call people from another village name as jharoda kalan
near najafgarh.. people of jharoda said they will only come when they will get half land in their favour, then people of garhi had given half land to them and maidan garhi village was born..
main occupation of village was farming uptill 1985 and only depends upon rain..
now people of maidan garhi are working in various government and private sectors..
and many of them are doing their own business.
maidan garhi village consist of various communities but main cast is jaat..(DAGAR)..
